Important updates and new features
- Dynamic Island: A pill-shaped cutout that replaces the notch and adapts to display real-time alerts and Live Activities.
- USB-C connector: The Lightning port is replaced with a USB-C port, allowing the same cable to charge the iPhone, Mac, and iPad.
- 48MP main camera: This is a significant upgrade over the iPhone 14’s 12MP main lens. It enables super-high-resolution photos and offers a 2x Telephoto option for a total of three optical zoom levels.
- New design: The glass back has a luxurious, textured matte finish, and the edges of the aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure are contoured for a more comfortable feel.
